Change negotiations at Bittium Engineering Services Ltd in Finland concluded

Bittium Corporation has today concluded the change negotiations initiated on 28 August 2026, at its subsidiary Bittium Engineering Services Ltd, the Finnish company of Bittium’s Engineering Services business segment. The change negotiations concerned the entire personnel of Bittium Engineering Services Ltd and covered 120 employees. The negotiations were initiated as part of measures to improve the profitability and develop the operations of the Engineering Services business segment.

As a result of the negotiations, the company will terminate the employment of a total of 22 employees for financial and production-related reasons and due to the reorganization of operations. If the terminations are implemented in full, together with other measures, the company estimates that it will achieve annual savings of approximately EUR 2.0 million. The savings are expected to materialize in full from 2027 onwards.

As a result of the decisions and measures taken, the company will recognize non-recurring costs totaling approximately EUR 0.5 million in its income statement for the fourth quarter of 2026, which will have a negative impact on the operating result of the Engineering Services business segment during the period.
