JOT Automation Group and ABB Robotics Products into co-operation

JOT Automation Group, specialized in production automation technologies within electronics industry, and ABB Robotics Products, in Sweden, as one of the leading suppliers of industrial robots, have signed an agreement of a comprehensive co-operation on developing and promoting a new robot generation for electronics industry.

The cooperation will start with a product development phase, where ABB's long and wide experience in the robot technology will be combined with JOT's expertise in the production process within electronics industry.

This cooperation will help both JOT Automation Group and ABB Robotics Products to expand in the field of electronics industry, packing and warehouse logistics. This is where the traditional production line ends. It is a huge and virtually non-automated part of the process.

"The benefits for the customers are that they can decrease the value in the warehouse and simultaneously improve their services by prompt and customized deliveries" says Jorma Terentjeff, president, JOT Automation Group.
