JOT AUTOMATION GROUP PLC ESTABLISHES A SUBSIDIARY IN HUNGARY
JOT Automation Group Plc has decided to establish a subsidiary in Hungary. The name of the new company is going to be JOT Automation Hungary Ltd. Companys's branch of business will be the sale and marketing of JOT Automation Group Plc's products and turn key solutions and also producing of the after sales services to the customers of JOT in Hungary and in the rest of the eastern Central Europe area. The new company shall be owned completely by JOT Automation Group Plc.
Mr. Mika Kiiskinen has been appointed as Managing Director of JOT Automation Hungary Ltd. Earlier Mr. Kiiskinen was employed by JOT Automation Ltd. in Project Managers and Area Sales Managers tasks and in years 1998-1999 as Managing Director of JOT Automation UK Ltd.
'The establishment of JOT Automation Hungary Ltd. is follow-up to the decisions of JOT to act actively in the eastern Central Europe area, where electronics industry is a very strongly grow-ing field of production. We always aim to act in the local level close to our customers, so that the availability of the supporting service is at all times guaranteed and fast', JOT Automation Group Plc President, CEO Jorma Terentjeff comments. 'We believe that in the future the strongly growing markets of Central Europe will become a good market area for JOT's prod-ucts. The investments of electronics industry in the area will be in the near future very significant and JOT is able to offer to the companies operating in the area the best possible complete solutions for carrying out production'.
JOT Automation Group specializes in manufacturing and marketing production automation for the electronics industry. The group has subsidiaries in eight countries. On September 30, 1999 the group employed 577 people and its net sales from January 1 to September 30, 1999 came to 75.4 million euros. The Company's shares are listed in the Helsinki Exchanges.
