PRELIMINARY INFORMATION RELATING TO THE FINANCIAL FIGURES OF THE JOT AUTOMATION GROUP PLC IN 2000
JOT Automation Group plc anticipates the level of turnover for the year 2000 to remain about 10% lower than the previously announced 160 million euros, due to the weaker than anticipated demand in the last quarter. The cumulative profit for the year 2000 is expected to exceed the 11% announced earlier.
JOT Automation Group specializes in manufacturing and marketing production automation for the electronics industry. The group has subsidiaries, partners and representatives in 14 countries. On June 30, 2000 the group employed 747 people and its net sales from January 1 to June 30, 2000 came to 75.7 million euros. The company's shares are listed on the Helsinki Exchanges.
