Bittium Establishes a Clinical Advisory Board to Support its Healthcare Technology Business

Oulu, Finland, October 31, 2022 – Bittium establishes a Clinical Advisory Board to support the business of its healthcare technology products. The Clinical Advisory Board brings Bittium medical expertise and an international forum for continuous development. The Clinical Advisory Board consists of medical professionals outside the company, each with extensive experience in their specialties, such as sports medicine, cardiology, electrophysiology, and clinical research.

The role of the Clinical Advisory Board is to provide feedback, conduct clinical research on Bittium's products, and assist Bittium with its expertise in developing even more competitive solutions. The Clinical Advisory Board also helps Bittium produce targeted material for current customers by supporting webinars, training, and other cooperation with stakeholders.

"Our operations in the Medical Technologies business area have grown, and to enhance our growth, we have now assembled, in addition to individual medical advisors, a Clinical Advisory Board whose members are long-term medical professionals with different backgrounds. We are excited to start working with the Clinical Advisory Board. Their perspective on the direction of healthcare technology development and their feedback on our products are valuable addition to our product development. Through the professional expertise of the members of the Clinical Advisory Board, we will also gain an even deeper understanding of the technology's competitive advantages and development targets in the clinical context, in addition to which the Clinical Advisory Board enables a continuous exchange of information related to the change in the clinical operating environment and the development of the industry," says Antti Näykki, Senior Vice President of Bittium's Medical Technologies Business Unit.
