Oulu, Finland, August 24, 2022 – Bittium will participate in the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) Congress held in Barcelona on 26-29 August 2022. The ESC Congress focuses on the research and treatment of cardiovascular diseases, and this year marks 70 years since the first ESC Congress.
Bittium’s team of Medical Technologies experts will showcase our latest solutions for cardiac monitoring that enable long-term ECG measurements and recordings, early detection of cardiac arrhythmias, and cardiac event monitoring. The new Bittium Faros™ 180L ECG measuring device, which was released in the spring, will be on display at the event. The Bittium Faros™ 180L measures at least 14 consecutive days on a single battery charge streamlining prolonged ECG monitoring, for example, in stroke patients and improving diagnostic yield of Holter monitoring and patient compliance. Bittium´s solutions enable the earlier discharge of patients and the ability to detect and react to arrhythmias faster.
All Bittium’s medical products can be integrated with the cloud-based back-end systems enabling seamless workflow and analysis of data regardless of location. These innovations not only equip clinicians with smarter diagnostics tools but also offer healthcare providers more efficient, time- and resource-saving solutions that are well suited for remote, preventative, and home-based care.
