JOT Automation Group Plc and Fenwick S.A. enter a Distributionship Agreement
JOT Automation Group Plc and the French company Fenwick S.A. have made a distributorship agreement regarding the marketing, sales and after-sale services of JOT Automation Group Plc's products and complete systems in France, Spain, Portugal and the Benelux countries.
Fenwick S.A. is a French trading house established in 1862, specialized in capital goods, with consolidated net sales in FY99/00 totaling about 900 million FIM. The share of net sales coming from production equipment and systems for the electronics industry is about 490 million FIM. Fenwick S.A.'s customer base includes Alcatel, Philips, Sagem, SCI and Solectron.
'This distributorship agreement strengthens JOT's sales in the target countries. We will have access to a strong sales organization that has interesting customers from JOT's point of view,' says president Jorma Terentjeff.
JOT Automation Group specializes in manufacturing and marketing production automation for the electronics industry. The group has subsidiaries, partners and representatives in 13 countries. On March 31, 2000 the group employed 652 people and its net sales from January 1 to March 31, 2000 came to 33.4 million euros. The company's shares are listed on the Helsinki Exchanges.
