JOT Automation Group Plc expects increased growth of electronics industry and raises its estimates on long term growth


JOT Automation Group Plc expects the growth of the electronics industry to continue and raises its estimates on long term net sales growth from previous 30-35 percent to approximately 50 percent. Operating margin target is estimated to be approximately 15 percent. The growth estimate is for years 2001-2002. For the current year the growth of net sales is estimated to be approximately 60 percent as according to the previous estimate.

The above mentioned estimates are based on the growth expectations of the electronics industry, the increased automation level and the good reception of JOT's new systems and products. ' We are expecting big delivery contracts from our most important customer segments in the current year' President, CEO Jorma Terentjeff comments, 'From JOT's view the following years seem positive in all our market areas.

JOT Automation Group Plc believes the e-commerce will create new opportunities also in the marketing of production lines and systems manufactured by JOT. JOT's subsidiary Visual Components Ltd. tailors 3D tools for JOT, which will make commerce by using the Internet possible. The new 3D tools will also significantly intensify JOT's internal operations, because the designing time for production lines can be reduced. The new tools will also ensure to customer optimal pay back time for investments.
