JOT AUTOMATION GROUP PLC RECEIVED ITS FIRST TURN KEY SYSTEM ORDER FROM MOTOROLA


JOT Automation Group Plc has received its first production automation turn-key system order from Motorola's iDEN phone division in the USA.
The order includes robots and materials handling equipments to be used in the fi-nal assembly of the customer's product.

'This is a new significant breakthrough for JOT production technology in the North America', said Jorma Terentjeff, CEO of JOT Automation Group Oyj. 'We are proud to be chosen by Motorola for their automation needs and confident that we can meet the high expectations of this world class customer'.

JOT Automation Group specializes in manufacturing and marketing production automation for the electronics industry. The group has subsidiaries in nine countries. On December 31, 1999 the group employed 601 people and its net sales from January 1 to December 31, 1999 came to 99.4 million euros. The company's shares are listed on the Helsinki Exchanges.
